Teacher Training
Consistent adult understanding is essential to the Feel It Framework. Before introducing the framework, staff should complete either the whole-school facilitated training or the individual self-directed training.
Staff should then complete the relevant character/layer training before teaching each new layer.
1. Whole-school facilitated training
Use this presentation to introduce the Feel It Framework during a staff meeting or whole-school training session. It includes guided activities, opportunities for reflection and practical guidance for consistent implementation.

2. Individual self-directed training
These short online modules cover the core principles needed to use the framework safely, consistently and confidently.
Work through Modules 1-6 before beginning delivery. Module 7 can be completed after the initial lesson sequence has started and revisited as part of ongoing reflection.

3. Character and layer preparation
Before delivering a character or layer lesson, complete the corresponding short training. This explains the purpose of the layer, its key language, underlying principles, appropriate adult responses and important boundaries.

Staff may use the Feel It Framework Professional Development Record to document the training and layer preparation they have completed.
