Rosie Meets Marcus Meerkat

Noticing our body’s clues
A racing heart, a fluttery tummy or tightly clenched fists - our bodies have so much to tell us.
Marcus helps Rosie explore the clues that appear when something feels dangerous or important. Together, they discover a kinder way to listen to the body’s protective signals.
Rosie Meets Eddie Elephant

Discovering what helps
When feelings feel big, Eddie is there to help Rosie pause and explore.
Through gentle tools and practice, Rosie discovers things she can try to help her feel steadier - with someone beside her when she needs support.
An invitation to explore what helps your child, remembering that different tools suit different people and moments.
Rosie Meets Olivia Owl

Getting curious about our thoughts
What happened? How did it feel? What story did our mind tell us?
Olivia helps Rosie pause and get curious about her thoughts. Together, they explore how feelings can colour the way we see a situation - and how there may be more than one way to understand it.
A story to spark conversations about thoughts, feelings and seeing things differently.
Rosie Meets Delia Dolphin

Discovering the magic of words
Our words can help us connect, explain how we feel and ask for what we need.
Delia helps Rosie explore the magic of speaking and listening, from sharing an idea to finding the words to ask for help.
An invitation to practise kind words, listen with curiosity and discover that every voice matters.
Rosie Meets Belle Bunny

Imagining possibilities and taking little steps
What could happen if we gave something a try?
Belle invites Rosie to explore her imagination, discover possibilities and take things one stepping stone at a time.
A gentle way to talk about trying something new, meeting challenges and learning as we go - with encouragement and support along the way.
Rosie Meets Feel It Fiona

Being yourself and sharing kindness
There is no one else exactly like you.
Fiona invites Rosie to notice her own heart light, make room for her feelings and discover the kindness she can offer herself and others.
A warm reminder that we do not have to earn our worth - and that small moments of connection can matter.
More than a storytime
You don’t need to turn each book into a lesson. Read together, enjoy the pictures and leave space for whatever your child notices.
You might ask:
- “What did you notice about Rosie?”
- “Have you ever felt a little like that?”
- “What might help?”
- “Who could you ask for support?”
There are no perfect answers. Sometimes a conversation will follow. Sometimes your child will simply want to hear the story again.
Time together is a lovely place to begin.
