This morning I woke with a dream sitting gently on my heart.
At first it felt heavy, tangled with sadness and confusion. I tried to understand every part, to give it meaning, but the more I searched, the heavier it became. So I paused. I breathed. I let the feelings move instead of chasing answers.
And then something softened.
Andrew wasn’t there to judge me or question my path. He didn’t need explanations. He was simply present - quiet, steady, and full of love. In that presence I felt something shift, almost like forgiveness… yet deeper than that, a realisation that I never needed forgiveness in the first place.
I am allowed to grow.
I am allowed to change.
Love does not disappear because life moves forward.
For a moment, anger surfaced too - an old, hidden ache that needed space to be acknowledged.
I let it rise without shame, and when it passed, what remained was warmth.
A softer understanding.
A gentler view of everyone involved, including myself.
Today I carry that warmth with me.
Not as an answer to the dream, but as a quiet knowing: My head and my heart can hold many feelings at once - sadness, love, memory, growth - and none of them make me wrong.
