The many benefits of Smiling

Did you know that smiling has many benefits?

Every time we smile we send positive signals to our brain. Smiling releases endorphins and serotonins into the blood, which triggers positivity.

Smiling at others makes us feel closer and more convincing, so our self-esteem rises to combat insecurity, shyness and fear of ridicule. Smiling shows to others that you are kind and friendly.

Smiling frequently produces a release of serotonin, which in turn strengthens our immune system preventing us from getting sick more often.

Smiling frequently is also good for the heart as the release of endorphins produces an increase in blood flow and a reduction in blood pressure.

Psychological Science revealed in 2010 through a study that the smile lengthens life. This publication indicated that not smiling gives us an average of 75 years of life, while doing so raises this rate to 79-80 years.

Smiling is an easy way to trick our mind and improve our predisposition in front of each day. Smile at yourself in the mirror. Listen to music, watch something funny; there’s always something that will bring a smile to your face! Therefore, smiling when waking up and before going to bed allows us to activate and relax our bodies.

Smiling is also contagious.. smile and infect as many people as you can today!
